Patents
We offer advice in determining whether an invention is protectable by patent; for it we elaborate reports on the State-of-the-art, based on results obtained from various specialized databases.
In case of the invention is considered susceptible of patent protection, i.e. the invention graded on criteria of Novelty, Inventive step and susceptibility of Industrial application, we elaborate the description required by the authority for application for protection.
Utility models
For those developments which basically consists of the modification of existing elements on a device that make it more easily used or provides better results, la legislación nacional prevé que éstos no son protegibles por patente pero sÃmediante un Registro de Modelo de Utilidad.
The procedure for protection is very similar to the patent, but less strict in their assessments.

Industrial designs
When the creation consists in to give a purely aesthetic finishing to a known article, or it is a pattern that can be produced in series, the best choice is the Industrial design.
This registration extends to flat designs which are known as "Industrial drawings", or tothree-dimensional objects called "Industrial Models".
